We cannot guarantee someone will buy your room. Do not contact the hotel to cancel your room. Cancel with Patty in our office.

Tracks:  We encourage you to bring one person to attend the program track and one person to attend the Development track.  You will be able to go between each track to seek information you feel you need to hear first hand. Do communicate with your nearby county programs if you have gender issues with rooms to see if they can accommodate sharing a room.

Conference Registration: All Conference Registrations are due by Friday, July 15, 2011. Registration is only available online. The link will be provided to county coordinators via email, and they will pass along to approved registrants within their county. Registration is $135 per person. Daily Registration is $75 per person. Refunds will be taken into considerations for family emergencies until July 22.

Scholarships:  Your county has been notified of the number of scholarships they will receive. These Scholarships are made possible by the Publix monies allocated for County and Area programs. Only County Programs in financial distress will be offered scholarship. County volunteers on scholarship will be housed in their county’s room block, and SOFL will credit the county's account. The county will make the room reservation for them. We will only pay half of the room costs for scholarship recipients.  If you do not have a roommate for them call Patty, and we will look for a roommate.  We will also fund the travel expenses for the scholarship recipients. The details will be forthcoming but are the same as last year. All county scholarships should be done online by the county coordinator or the scholarship recipient.  The county coordinator will forward the registration link to the recipients.

FPAC, APD, Area ALPs, Training Directors and Selected Conference Committee members will attend conference on a Grant. Each of these persons will be sent a link to register. Many of these persons wear several hats but for the purpose of the Conference, they will register as one of the above positions even though they may be a county coordinator.  For Housing: Each position is allotted half of the room rate, each night. A list of people eligible for half-cost nights will be sent to County Coordinators and FPAC, APD, ALPs and Training Directors. If positions have no one to room with, email Patty.  Patty must make reservations for all singles as she will have to find a roommate for them from our pool of folks coming.  If the county wants to pay for the other half of the room as a single, we will bill the county (if there is space available). All positions listed above will receive full registration, and if not affiliated with a county or cannot carpool with a county, transportation will be awarded on a case-by-case basis. Training Directors will receive half-cost nights for Friday and Saturday. FPAC, APD, and ALPs will be for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, if driving distance is more than two hours from the hotel.

ALPs Scholarships:  (20) Athlete Leaders and (20) Mentors/Speech Coaches/Facilitators will be able to attend the Conference on a Grant.  A list will be sent out Monday, June 20, of the athletes that are eligible based on the work they have done on their input councils, the number of presentations they have made, or the number of volunteer, fundraising projects, special events they have participated in.
