All athletes are invited to attend the Athlete Input Council Meetings.  Meetings are held on the last Saturday of the month.  Time and place will be communicated prior to event.

 

Latest News

• Indian River had their ALPs meeting January.
• The athlete leaders recruited other athletes to assist with the annual Tootsie Roll Drive in March.
• On March 5th the athlete leaders visited an assisted living home and helped the waiters and waitress serve dinner.  After dinner they socialized with the Senior Citizens. 
• April 26 is our Bowl-a-thon and the athlete leaders are helping with fundraising and talking to people about forming corporate teams and bowling against other corporations.

Get Involved!

Mentors:  We are currently recruiting mentors to assist in our Athlete Leadership Programs. 

Speech Coaches:  We are currently recruiting speeech coaches to assist in our Athlete Leadership Programs.

Global Messengers:  If you want to be an ambassador and spokesperson for your county, and receive training to enhance your speaking abilities, this program is for YOU!

Athlete Leaders:  We are always needing Athlte Leaders to be available for speaking engagements, fund-raising events, competitions, serve as committee members, and to participate on the County Input Council. 

Athlete Volunteers:  Athletes are always welcome to assist at competitios, family activities, fundraisers, school or agency activities, etc.  This is an opportunity for athletes not currently involved in ALPs, to enjoy the ALPs experience.
