A County Program: Broward About: I have trained and competed in basketball, skiing, volleyball, bowling, swimming, and golf. I have been a Special Olympics athlete since 1995. I became involved through middle school. The highlight of my experience with Special Olympics has been being awarded athlete of the year for Broward County. I have served on Broward County CMT, and ALPs. Being a part of Special Olympics gives me many opportunties to help others and helps me to have lots of friends.
